Snake Skin Prints

The weather has been consistently on the warmer side, and our dresses were both of the fitting light-weight for it! We put together a couple of afternoon, evening looks that are each in a snake skin print. We hope you enjoy this post!

Jennifer- I love this snakeskin dress. It has a high-neck that ties at the back, as well as a cinched waist, and is the prefect length.

Whitney- This black and grey snake skin dress is perfect when paired with silver accessories. This dress is also season-less, as it looks great with tights for winter.

Opposing Patterns

Jennifer- I wore a patterned, pleated skirt that I think is really fun and cute for daytime. The weather was beautiful so I only needed a simple, strapless, fitted black top to accompany my skirt. The shoes I am wearing are a great wedge sandal. In my opinion they are definitely a must for the season! A great cover up for this look could be a blazer in either camel, or classic black. These would look chic with the  rest of the pieces.

Whitney- Patterned shorts are a must-have this season. I love the simple pattern of this pair from HM. For this look I paired the shorts with a colorful top, adding a punch of color is an easy way to update an outfit.
Tip- to transition printed shorts from day to night, pair with a  sheer, silk top plus a light weight blazer or jacket.

Pink and Black

Jennifer- I put together a cool, chic look with lots of sequins, and a bright neon coral. Though the skirt and jacket I'm wearing are not of the same brand they paired amazingly well together! I threw on a loose-fit bright sleevelss top along with the sequined duo to add a cute pop of color, and accessorized to complete my look.

Fitted Knit Dresses

Whitney- There is something so chic about color blocking. I love this dress for it's simple, clean lines. Because the colors of the dress are neutral and understated, I added blue accessories to make the look more interesting.

Jennifer- Color is a very important characteristic of a look and design. It categorizes your outfit or particular piece into a specific season, or several seasons. I have on a fun blue hue that is really great for the spring and summer seasons. It is a very soft, comfortable dress to wear, and can be styled numerous ways.

Bright for Spring

Whitney- Watercolor florals are at their best in bold colors. I found this skirt on a recent trip to NYC at Joe Fresh. Now I'm wishing there was one here in San Francisco! This shop has a lot of great patterns and use of color in their products.
Tip- Busy floral skirts stay chic when paired with a minimalist striped top and simple accessories.

Jennifer- Whitney and I were both definitely feeling like a bright outfit would be perfect for our beautiful weather! I decided to wear a pair of high waisted white shorts with an orange crop top. To break the middle of my outfit up a little, I added a belt with a cute cutout pattern. I wore my hair in a side ponytail and also added some pretty orange drop earrings to compliment my top.
Tip- Earrings are a great addition to any outfit. If you are intending to draw attention to your face, they are  a must!
