Spring Dresses

Whitney

Whitney- This outfit is casual and perfect for cool Spring days in the city when it is warm in the sun but cool in the shade. I love the simplicity of this dress, it can be worn with almost anything. Today I paired it with this faux fur vest, which looks really beautiful against white.

Jennifer- This dress is designed in a classic silhouette as well as in a great length for daytime affairs such as brunch. I decided to pair the dress with a blue, single-button closure blazer. Keeping both pieces navy blue, apart from the gold accented belt and accessories.

It's All In The Details

Jennifer

Jennifer- Sequins can be so much fun when worn! I wore a deep purple dress with purple sequins covering the entire front panel of the dress. Along with the sequins there is silver thread sewn throughout both the front and back panels of this dress. I really love this characteristic of the dress, it makes this look a little more glamorous!

Whitney- This colorful lace skirt is the main focus in my outfit.  I have paired it with basic black, to keep the look fun and chic for night, I have added detailed accessories. The necklace ties in the pink of the skirt. While the beaded bag paired with my shimmery black ring and shoes coordinate.
Tip- Shoes, jewelery and bag should have similar hardware. In this outfit I played my accessories off of the detailing on the shoulders of my top. The theme is gunmetal, which is trending for Spring.

Colored Necklaces

Whitney

Whitney- A crisp white top with denim is a fashion classic. There are so many ways this pairing can be done to make the look your own. This silk top has a subtle leopard print, this detailing gives it some edge.

Jennifer- I think that the necklace is the best part of my outfit in this look. I absolutely love colors that
stand out like this, especially with my fair skin tone. It was a little cold so I added a sequin blazer over my sleeveless cream cowl-neck top, keeping it chic, and dressy.

No 2 Pencil Dresses

Jennifer

Jennifer- I am wearing a chic, sophisticated black dress. This dress closes with a side zipper, and is an excellent fit on me! The design or an alternate of the same style, would look gorgeous on many different body types. The Fact that this dress is black makes it appropriate and completely wearable during many seasons and also great to have as a classic go-to garment.

Whitney- I've always loved pairing bright dresses with neutral colors. This blazer is a step up from a basic, with it's embellishment. To keep the look elegant for evening, I wore a simple stone cocktail ring and these strappy Chanel shoes.

Show Your Stripes

Whitney

Whitney- Stripes are a wardrobe staple, and wearable all season long. This outfit is a mix of colors and striping, the simplicity of the blazer and accessories keep the look sleek and sporty.

Tip- When mixing prints choose coordinating colors and use big with small patterns.

Jennifer-  The dress that I have on is a favorite of mine. I really love how it is fitted from the waist down and more of a blouson style at the top. The horizontal stripes of the bottom half of this dress versus the vertical stripes of the top half, are also a cool part of the design. If I were trying to achieve a more elegant and/or sophisticated look, I would wear my hair up with this style dress.

Tip- Be careful when buying or wearing garments with stripes. They do not look flattering on every body type. Horizontal stripes can often make a person appear wider in areas that they are not comfortable with.
